Spéire Nua
Spéire Nua was born in 2020 out of a need to combat the stigma for those with a background of criminal conviction.

Through his own experiences, the founder Damien Quinn has realized that the current model of disclosure did not support the vetting applicant as they sought opportunities and typically caused exclusion in many instances. In his college dissertation, Damien has expressed a new form of disclosure - Recognition of Prior Learning that could be a new way of conducting criminal conviction disclosures.

Today Spéire Nua has adopted and developed a process that validates commitment to change and offers many services to facilitate that change.

Recognition of Prior Learning
RPL captures non accredited and experiential learning to assist people to get certified recognition for their soft skills and experience; provided they can demonstrate that learning outcomes of selected courses have been met.

Portfolio Building Process
This is a processes of disentangling oneself from the restrictiveness of their convictions and exploring what learning that came from their set of circumstances and how it could be applied in the future.
